Swine flu a serious concern urges strong steps to be taken: EJAC | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Feb 19: Terming swine flu a serious concern the Employees Joint Action Committee (EJAC) has urged strong steps to be taken to counter the deadly virus. According to press release an emergent session of EJAC was held leadership of Ab Qayoom Wani. Addressing the session the EJAC President expressed his deep concern and urged the Govt.to initiate effective steps to control this fatal disease. "Arrangements be made for tests at District and Tehsil levels. EJAC President urges the Govt. since the schools or opening and winter vacation as such steps for checking this Disease be takin in advance as Parents cannot take risk which involves the life threat to children", he said, adding that need to unilize the services of NGOs to this behalf to educate the masses. Wani appealed the Governor to ensure the cleanliness in the Schools and Colleges before this opening so that the innocent Students may not feel prey to this deadly disease. He also expressed serious concern for non availability of Drugs pertaining to N1H1. He also appealed State Governor to reinstate Dr Nissar-ul-Hassan President (DAK) Doctors Association Kashmir who is renowned doctor of this very disease. Having specialization in this field he had informed the Government in August 2014 about the spread of this deadly disease. |
