Udhampur, Feb 19 : Expressing concerns over the delaying tactics of district administration in initiating the construction of bridge over Devika-local rivulet near Sai Baba temple in Ragunath Pura Udhampur which was washed away during heavy rains and flash floods five months back in September 2014, the residents of area today staged protest demanding early start of the said bridge. Local held a protest near Sai Baba temple under the leadership of temple priest raising anti government slogans and demanding immediate start of constriction of bridge over river Devika so as the people living across the river get better road connectivity. Speaking on the occasion temple priest Sai Mandir Mahant Swami Mangal Dass said that the Devika Tawi bridge got washed away due to flash floods in September 2014 and till date no progress was made in this direction forcing people to suffer.
