ABVP assails postponement of KAS prelims examination | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb 22 : Demanding to club more posts of KAS through PSC as the prelims notified has been postponed twice till date, the Jammu University ABVP Research Scholar Convenor Lokinder Singh while lambasting the PSC authorities said that it is making mockery of the aspirations of thousands of KAS aspirants. Addressing a press conference here today, Lokinder Singh said that the students and scholars of the state are outraged with the PSC since it by postponed the prelims exams of KAS just after allotting Roll numbers on its website. He said that the news of postponement of prelims exams was a setback for all the KAS aspirants of the state who were preparing for it with full devotion and dedication. He added that 659 administrative units in J&K were made recently and it requires huge strength of administrative posts which are lying vacant. Lokinder Singh demanded from the PSC to add more posts in the already notified exam where 51 posts were referred under combined competitive examination 2014. Singh also demanded from PSC to give age relaxation to those candidates who may suffer due to postponement of the exam due to floods in the state last year and due to unknown reason this time as the reason for the delay in the exam has not been shown by PSC yet. |
