Army assists in pulse polio immunization in Bhaderwah 2/22/2015 11:10:59 PM Early Times Report BHADERWAH, Feb 22 : The Rashtriya Rifles located at Bhaderwah established a "Pulse Polio Immunization" booth at Domel for children below five years of Tehsil Bhaderwah as part of assistance to civil administration. A medical team comprising of one Medical Officer and two Nursing Assistants of Rashtriya Rifles located at Bhaderwah alongwith one medical representatives of BMO, Bhaderwah provided their services from 09.00 AM to 04.00 PM on 22 February 2015. This is the second time the Rashtriya Rifles establishing the Pulse Polio Booth during this year. A total of 162 children were immunized with Pulse Polio drops during the programme. Wide publicity was given to ensure that maximum children were immunized on 22 February 2015. Locals were seen interested to avail the opportunity for immunizing maximum children at the booth itself.
