JKTF criticizes higher authorities for failure to provide justice to Masters, Teachers | | | Jammu, Feb 22 : Jammu and Kashmir Teachers Forum (JKTF) today criticized higher authorities of education department for failure to provide justice to masters and teachers whose adjustment orders have been issued by Director School Education Jammu. According to press release, JKTF held a meeting under the chairmanship of Abdul Qayoom Wani in which he said that the teachers forum repeatedly urged secretary education for providing justice to the victims and initiating probe for making the masters surplus and also favoritism, nepotism and corrupt practices made the previous government. He further said that during the meeting higher authorities of education department, forum suggested that the vacant posts of the promote lecturers would have been filled and the surplus masters have got a chance to adjust at the vacant posts in their own district without any disturbance. The forum once again appeals to the chief secretary and secretary education to look into the issue personally to provide justice to the concerned lecturers/ masters. During the meetin the resolution was passed that teachers forum will go for 48 hours chain hunger strike w.e.f Feb 25-27 in the premises of DSE Jammu. Rajinder Gupta, Gopal Singh, Surat Singh Toofani, Raj Singh, Darshan singh, Kuldeep Raj and Jewan Singh were also present on the occasion. |
