Deputation of parents called upon CEO Kishtwar | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Feb 22 : A deputation of parents of students of SDM Public School, Kishtwar led by Joginder Bhandari and Ranjeet Kumar called upon the Chief Education Officer in respect of charging of an additional fee of Rs 1000 per month from each out going students of class 10th for the month of November- December 2014 and January-February 2015 without any justified and valid reason. The deputation told the CEO that the outgoing students of class 10th had approached the Principal for issuance of their roll number slips where they were asked to deposit the fee for the months of November- December 2014 and January-February 2015 from each student. The deputation informed that the exams of 10th class scheduled to be held in October-November 2014 but due to the floods, their exams were postponed to March 2015 adding that their kids ceased to be students of the said school after October 2014. The CEO gave patient hearing to the deputation and asked the parents of the students as well the students to make their presence in the said school on February 23 where he will address the complaint. |
