Jammu, Feb 26 : The Government College of Education, Jammu today organized interaction regarding training program for Placement drive through Accenture as one of the company under UDAAN scheme which was established in 1987 related to Technology and Consultation and their target for their training 5000 students over a period of 5 years under UDAAN scheme.
Health and Public Service, Consultant, Accenture Harsh Jhangaria was the resource person who interacted with the students and acquainted them in details about the various avenues of the program.
Principal of the college Prof. (Dr) Ajeet Angral, appreciated the initiative of the Placement Centre of the college in providing the platform to interact with the students for their capacity building and also advised the students to take maximum benefits of series of programs being organized by career counseling and placement centre of the college.
The interactive session was followed by number of quarries made by the students which was answered by the resource person in a most simple and effective manner.
Priyanka Koul student of the college anchored the program. Key note address was delivered by Prof. (Dr) Rajinder Kaur , coordinator of the Career Counseling and Placement Centre and vote of thanks was presented by Prof. (Dr) Neelam Dhar. Others who were present in the occasion were Dr Rupinder Kour, Dr Piyali Arora, Prof. Deep Bangotra and Prof. Rubina Yasmeen. |
