GDC Reasi organizes awareness progromme on Swine flu 2/26/2015 9:24:20 PM Reasi, Feb 26 : The NSS unit of Government Degree College Reasi today organized awareness programme on Swine flu here at college campus. According to press release, Dr.RakeshRaina (Senior Physician) from District Hospital Reasi was the chief guest and Professor Kaushal Samotra (Principal of The College) was the guest of honour on the occasion. Dr. RakeshRaina gave a detailed note on this disease Swine flu and also aware students about symptoms, causes and diagnosis of this disease. He further said that Swine flu is not a deadly disease but it is duty of all of us to take its preventive measures properly. He also aware them that the children less than five years and persons more than 65 years are more affected by this disease. He gave the detailed note of latest vaccination for this disease and also informed them that N-95 mask is most effective to prevent the virus but the common mask is also effective upto some extent. Meanwhile speaking on the occasion, Principal of the College suggested the students to adopt all precautions given by Dr. Raina and asked them to convey the message to the society to adopt all of them. The staff members of the college were also present during the function.
