Health department organizes Swine Flu awareness camps | | | Early Times Report
Kathua, feb.28:- Health department Kathua unit today woke up from deep slumber and took initiative against Swine Flu after criticism raised by media and denizens. Chief Medical Officer, CMO, Kathua framed a team of expert doctors and issued instruction to conduct awareness camps in Government and Private Educational institutions. In this regard a team of expert doctors under the supervision of Dr Kartar Verma conducted an awareness camp in Government Middle school Chack Sheikhan, Kathua and awoke the students and teachers about the precautions that must be exercised to protect from Communicative disease including Swine Flu. While addressing to students and staff members, Dr Kartar Verma awoke them to use mask, sanitizers, hand washes and other such precautions to protect their body from communicative bacteria. He asked for immediate check up to expert doctor after few symptom of cold or swine flu. While interacting to media, Dr Verma said no such case of Swine flu founded to be positive in Kathua district but department does not want to leave any stone unturned to aware the public about such flu. He said free medicines and Masks have been received by Kathua hospital and are being distributed to the patients. Dr Jatinder Kumar, Dr Sachin, Dr Mohan Lal and many others team members distributed pamphlets and other educative materials to the students. |
