| How would Omar look in Khakhi knicker? | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb 28: Former Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah has said that the Jammu Kashmir government will now be run from Nagpur. He has also made a mention of Khakhi knickers which the RSS workers wear to `convey a message'.
Nagpur houses the headquarters of the RSS and Omar was referring to the coalition between Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP). The BJP Omar believes is controlled by the RSS. Pertinent to mention, the Common Minimum Programme (CMP), according to reports, was okayed by the RSS which was not pleased with the language of the initial draft of the CMP.
Omar's reaction comes after PDP rejected his support for forming the government. Omar and his national conference has been severely criticizing the PDP for its alliance with what they call `communal' forces.
Interestingly, Omar never wore the khakhi knickers of the RSS when he was MOS foreign affairs in the Vajpayee led NDA government.
Omar's critiques have a reason for his dislike for the RSS knickers. According to them, Omar wears designed clothes. The RSS knickers are loose and would not suit a person like him. How would he look in Khakhi knickers? |
