PPHS organizes farewell party | | | Early Times Report
KATRA, Feb 28: In order to pay respect to the seniors who are going to leave the School for further studies after the Board exams, the students of Pineland Public High School today organized a farewell party for the 10th class student at School premises. The Students of 9th class gave a farewell party to their seniors as a sign of respect for the leaving class. The function started at morning in which the students of 9th class presented many cultural items. Not only cultural items, but a sort of competitions between 9th and 10th class were also held in the function. All the teachers including the Principal as well as other non teaching staff also enjoyed the function by participating in some competitions. The students of 9th class then presented titles to all the teachers as well as the seniors. Two Students namely, Vishal Kumar and Neha dragged the titles of Mr PPHS and Miss PPHS respectively by excelling in various competetions organized. Speaking on the occasion, Usha Jasrotia, Principal said that such events showed the respect of Seniors among juniors. She added that such events also express the feeling of brotherhood among all the students and must go along with the studies. She also wished luck to all the departing students for their better future. Lastly, gifts were presented to all the students and teachers. All the students along with the staff members enjoyed meal after the function. |
