JKPP (S) criticizes union budget 2015, calls anti-poor | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Feb 28: JKPP (S) criticized Union Budget 2015, called it anti-poor and unrealistic on Saturday. No special announcement has been made for Business Community, Industralists and common people of J&K except allocated on one AIIMS. According to press release, JKPP (S) criticized union Finance Minister Arun Jaitely for being anti poor as he burdened millions of Indians who used various types of services to run their day to day affairs by raising service tax from a present rate of 12.36% to 14% which in turn will translate into paying of additional tax in form of payment of insurance premiums, use of hotel and restaurant services, payment of mobile bills and as on one has to pay service tax to avail 125 types of services in India. Moreover, to build 6 crore homes by 2022 is also one such announcement which is totally realistic as the finance minister fails to announce the source of funding to build such a huge number of houses. "It seems that this budget has been framed not by a finance minister of a country rather a lawyer has framed it just only to help corporate as they have been rewarded by 5 percent reduction in corporate tax while he failed to protect the interests of farmers, pensioners, salaried class employees and common masses," JKPP (S) added. |
