Access Infra Telecommunication (P) Ltd cheats poor employee | ** Hands over fake check with closed account, police didn't register FIR | | Bivek Mathur
Jammu, Feb 28 : Access Infrastructure Telecommunication (P) Ltd has allegedly cheated one Vijay Singh by depriving him of his salary for which he ran from pillar to post in June 2014 but after he registered a case against the company in Labour Court, he was asked by the company for a compromise by agreeing to pay his salary but all in vain as the company has again cheated him by allegedly providing him a fake cheque. Vijay, resident of Nad, Samba, filed a written complaint of cheating with the office of Labour Commissioner in Jammu in the month of June 2014 that he was not paid his salary by the Access Infrastructure Telecommunication (P) Ltd. After hearing the complainant, the commissioner's office directed the company to pay him his genuine dues. In between, the company asked the victim to compromise and takes the case back and consented to pay him Rs 4168 for which he nodded. Accordingly on Feb 9, 2015, the victim was handed over a cheque of Axis bank bearing Account number 911020032761213 and cheque number 059615 180211002 147460 29. As the complainant is presently working in a private business establishment, he went to the Shalamar branch of Axis Bank on Feb 26 to encash the cheque but there he was told that the account number which is mentioned on the cheque is presently closed. When the applicant approached Police Post Sainik Colony, its incharge took the application but didn't register the FIR against the Access Infrastructure Telecommunication (P) Ltd on the pretext that the victim needs salary not an FIR. When Early Times contacted the chowki incharge over telephone, he said police would find out why the victim was provided fake cheque and didn't mention why FIR was not registered. |
