| GCW Parade celebrates valediction party | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb 28: GCW, Parade celebrated a great valediction party to bid adieu to the final year students. The warm-hearted send off and the fun filled celebration was chaired by Dr. Hemla Aggarwal, Principal of the College, who inaugurated the event by lightening the lamp. Along with Principal all the HOD'S of different Departments and other faculty members graced the occasion. Dr. Aruna Dubey, Dean Student welcomed the outgoing students. A mesmerizing cultural bonanza of songs, dances and games were organized by the juniors. Astounding dance performances by students kept the tempo high and surged the energy levels in the surroundings. Juniors recalled the memories with seniors and gave them best wishes and seniors also shared their experience and memories of college. Urvashi Thappa was adjudged as Miss GCW, Parade, whereas Sakshi, Manavi and Diksha were declared as runners up from arts, science and commerce stream respectively. Ms Supriya was given the title of Miss Talented.
The programme was compared by Ms Aditi and Shifali. Principal blessed the final year students and wished them all success in their future endeavours. The eventful day ended with thanks giving note by vice president Shifali. |
