PM’s Package employees without salaries for many months | | | Early Times Report
Srinagar, Mar 22: PM Package Employees Kashmir (PMPEK) has taken a strong note for the delay in the salaries of the employees posted in Kashmir valley and alleged Kashmiri Pandits are without salaries for the last so many months. According to press release, employees have to run from pillar to post for the release of the salary which has been withheld for the last so many months but all in vain. They said that package for return and rehabilitation is an utter failure as how is it possible to rehabilitate the whole community if government fails to draw salaries of 1400 employees employed under PM Package for returns and rehabilitation of KPs back to Valley on time. They said that requisition from various departments addressed to Relief Commissioner (M) Jammu for release of salaries never reach their on time making hundreds of employees working in valley to suffer. There is communication gap between HOD's of various departments where our employees are working in Valley and Relief Commissioner (M) Jammu who is funding authority. They further said that the day we gave been employed salaries are not on time and always there is delay in release of salary for months together. They appealed to Chief Minister of the state to look into the matter personally and come out with some solution that salaries of employees employed under PM Package for return and rehabilitation of Kashmiri Pandits are released before the end of this financial year so that funds ment for salary are not lapsed. |
