Deputation of SDM Public School calls upon DE Jammu 3/22/2015 11:32:18 PM Early Times Report Kishtwar, Mar 22: A deputation of parents of SDM public school Kishtwar led by Joginder Bhandari called upon the Director of Education (DE) Jammu and complained regarding unauthorized, illegal charging of tuition fee for the months of November, December 2014 and January and February 2015 from the outgoing students of class 10th by the said school. According to press release, the parents informed the Director that their kids were supposed to be the students of the said school upto October 2014 but due to the floods their examinations were postponed to March 2015,they said that their kids were relieved from the school in the month of October 2014 and by the dint of extension of examinations, but SDM public school took undue advantage of natural calamity and forcibly rendered to charging of Rs.1000 PM for the period mentioned above by amounting to Rs.4000 from each student under the utter violation of norms envisaged thereof by the education department. Whereas, the Chief Education Officer Kishtwar had issued orders for refunding of illegally charged tuition fee to all concerned students but the SDM public school turned deaf ears to the order issued by the CEO Kishtwar and didn't returned the tuition fee.
