LWWS stages nukkad "Sadak Ki Ghatnayian" | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Mar 28: Lalded Women Welfare Society staged play "Sadak Ki Ghatnayian" at Digiana Park Jammu in which unauthorized occupation of road space by road violators was highlighted through powerful play. According to press release, it reminded that how the shopkeepers extend their frontal space by ejecting bambooos and iron rods, putting in convince to the road users. Despite of repeated request by the concerned authorities they are giving deaf ear to the problem and some time it turns into fatal accidents due to tight space on the road. The story is written by Ram Paul & directed by Naveen Pal. The play opens with a male character Nattu who runs a Shop in a busy chowk and in the lust of earning more money he extended his roof of shop for beyond 6 feet so as to keep extra visibility and to garner maximum customers at the shop, when the authority requested him to close down his extra extension so that same may not create any problem to the road walkers but instead of following the instructions he reacted opposite and started quarreling with them. In the same moment a customer appeared there namely Ramu in the shop and after finding trouble with some officials he requested Nattu that he should follow the instructions and fold his extended polythene made roof because it is against the law to keep unauthorized iron rods which are fatal for others The lead role were played by Ram Paul (Writer/ Actor /Social Activists & Coordinator to LWWS ) & Naveen Pal ( Actor & Director ), Santosh Basotra, Sonu, Sunil Sharma etc. the play were highly appreciated by the audience available on the Spot. |
