80 bags of govt supply cement recovered, two booked | | | Ealy Times Report RAJOURI, Mar 28: Police today claimed to have seized some 80 bags of government cement which was recovered from the possession of two civilians who were constructing their houses in Budhal of Rajouri District. Meanwhile police have registered case in tow respective cases. Following directions of SSP Rajouri, Dr Haseeb Mughal, a team of Police Station Budhal led by inspector Parmod Singh Bajju, SHO conducted a raid and recovered 80 bags of government cement from the possession of two civilians who were constructing their houses. SHO Police Station Budhal Inspector Parmod Singh said that during checking about the authenticity of the information police have recovered 40 bags of government cement from the construction site at the house of one Mohd Shabir s/o Ali Mohd resident of Daraj Patali. "Yet in similar raid 40 bags of cement from the possession of Shabir s/o Mujamil Din resident of village Palwad, he added. "The government cement might have sold to the accused persons by the contractors undertaking various government projects in the area, he said adding, "Police have started investigation to ascertain identities of the guilty contractors," said SHO Budhal. Police have registered a case FIR No 22/2015 u/s 405/409and 109 RPC against the accused. However both the accused have managed to escape before the police raids. |
