| MVIS Pledges to Go Green | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Apr 23 : Environmental stewards and nature's caretakers, no matter what your label of choice, helping others learn about becoming more Earth Friendly is the mission. That mission becomes reality during the activities of Earth Day, which culminates on April 22 Every year. So, being the part of the mission MV International School celebrated two days campaign in its school premises on the occasion of "World Earth Day".
The school organized 'Collage' and 'Poster Making Competitions' for the various age groups. Students participated with full enthusiasm and draw their imaginations and aspirations in the form of poster and collage. Second day, the students of MV International School ran the cleanliness campaign. They promise to themselves to keep the surroundings and their own school clean.
The Principal Mr. K L Dogra briefed the students about the upcoming situation of the earth and measures how on to save our own mother earth. The Director of the school Mr. Gourav Abrol declared open, the cleanliness campaign and took pledge from the students of MVIS to maintain the dignity of the mother Earth. The students tied "Go Green" badges to the Principal and Director of the School.
The Chairman of the school Shri Hira Lal Abrol appreciated the efforts of the faculty of MVIS for making their students aware of everything. Later, everybody witnessed the posters and collages made by the children on the occasion and astonished with creativity and tag lines mentioned by the students |
