| BJP cheated Jammuites for the 'sake of power' only | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Apr 24: Expressing concerns over the alleged betrayal of BJP to the people of Jammu in all issues in general and particularly on AIIMS shifting from Jammu to Kashmir region, Senior Congress Leader and Former Minister and General Secretary JKPCC, Dr Manohar lal Sharma today said this has exposed the real face of BJP and its leadership.
"BJP always has exploited the sentiments of Jammu province by making false promises every time particularly in election but practically they did nothing till date and now the real face of theirs is exposed particularly shifting of AIIMS to valley from Jammu, he said.
Dr Sharma also criticized the new employment policy and termed it completely against the interest of educated unemployed youth. "This is a mockery with the youth to engage them temporally/contractually for seven years both in gazetted and non gazetted cadre, he said, adding which would not only result in corruption but also hand a danger of uncertainty over youth."
Lashing upon present government, former minister said the present regime has utterly failed in addressing the problem of farmers affected in recent heavy rains and hailstorms. He demanded suitable and adequate compensation to the farmers, AIIMS to be establish in Jammu and new employment policy to be withdrawn. He also extended thanks to the people of Jammu and all stake holders who supported Jammu bandh called against shifting of AIIMS Jammu. |
