| Jammu, Apr 27: Government Degree College Budhal observed World Malaria Day by organizing a seminar in the college. According to press release, Principal of the college Dr. Shakeel Ahmed Raina presided over the function. In his presidential address, Dr. Shakeel advised the students to play an adequate role for keeping the environment clean so that the population of the mosquito can be stopped to grow which is the root cause of the dangerous disease like malaria. College students Fozia Ayoub, Sumnash Kumar, Mohd Shabir, Raj Kumar and Waseem Shabnum delivered speeches in the seminar. Faculty member Altaf Ahmed delivered technical talk on the topic. Diple Devi conducted proceedings of the programme where as Lecturer Amandeep Jangral presented formal vote of thanks. Large number of staff and students attended the function. |
