Kathua, Apr 27 : Nehru Yuva Kendra, Kathua through Punarjagran Abhiyan\ deployed 60 youth volunteers for creating awareness in 100 villages. According to press release, Youth volunteers under the guidance of Som Datt Zard, District Youth Coordinator educating masses about the flagship programmes of govt. like Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, PM Jan Dhan Yojana, Make in India, Skill development and entrepreneurship, Beti Bachao-Beti Padao, Public Service Guarantee Act etc. and guide them to follow guidelines to get benefits out of these schemes. Village level meetings are being organized at village Raghunath Pura, Gilwand, Mesha Chack, Devo Chack, Changi, Gopal Chack, Khanwal Mukandpur, Khanak, Dadyal in Mahreen Block. Village Sarpanches, Panchayat Members, Teachers, Anganwari Workers, Social Workers, Asha Workers, Lambardar, local public opinion leaders are participating in open house discussions on various social issues like female foeticide, Drugs Abuse, Women empowerment, community participation in social development and eradication of social evils. |
