BJP committed to all round development: Yudhvir Sethi

JAMMU, Apr 27: Reiterating commitment to develop Jammu city on most modern lines, Senior BJP leader Yudhvir Sethi today said the party honours historic support of the people and all out efforts would be done to develop the town in a major tourist hub, adding that work on the project to develop the city into a smart city has already begun.
He was addressing a gathering of people before kick starting various development works in different areas of old Jammu city.
"We are committed for all round development of the state and with active support from the central government soon the state would have one of the best infrastructures in the country," he added.
The areas in which infrastructure works were started include, Khilonya wali Gali, Afghana Mohalla, Mohalla Jandraya and adjoining areas of the wholesale business hub of the town.
Various lane-drain works, street lightening and sanctioning of new mast lights was initiated.
On the occasion, Yudhvir Sethi along with a team of JMC officials inspected different areas and listened to the grievances projected by the people of these areas. He called upon the authorities to launce special sanitation drives in the area so as to give new look to the ever busy business streets of the old city.
Anil Masoom, Pardeep Singh Jamwal, Deep Singh, Ashok Gupta, Kuldeep Singh Jamwal, Arun Sethi, Pardeep Langeh, Suraj Parkash, Gurdash Sharma, Satish Kumar, Sanjeev Anand, Jeeta Sardar, Micky Vaid, Rahul, Ajay Kumar, Hemant, Vishu, Ankush, Pappu Sardar, Sonu, Amreek Singh, Ashwani Arora, Pankaj and others were present.
