| Rogi Kalyan Samiti meeting held at Samba | | | Early Times Report
VIJAYPUR, Apr 27:To provide better facilities to the patients at District Hospital samba, a meeting of Rogi Kalyan Samiti was held today under the Chairmanship of MLA, Samba Devinder Kumar Manyal in the premises of District Hospital Samba.
The meeting reviewed the progress achieved on the decisions taken in the previous meeting.
MLA Samba D K Manyal assured the meeting that provision for Laparoscopic Surgery will soon be available. He said provision for blood bank will also be opened in the hospital building. He assured the meeting that district hospital will have a parking area to address the problem of traffic congestion in the hospital.
The decision regarding enhancement of incentive from Rs 2000 to Rs 2500 for part time sanitation workers was also taken in the meeting.
It was also decided in the meeting that the first dose of Anti Rabbies vaccine shall be issued from the district hospital.
The provision for two more computers at OPD registration section will be made in the hospital to benefit patients who otherwise have to wait long in ques.
Provision for water cooler in new IPD will also be made at an earliest. MLA disclosed that the government has made a landmark decision under which patient will be provided with all due medicines in emergency and no money shall be charged from the patient.
Opening of Jan Aushadi Shop, provision of Emergency medicines, purchase of x ray films and laboratory reagents were also approved in the meeting.
Chief Medical Officer Samba Rajiv Sharma, Medical Superintendent District Hospital Samba, Rajinder Samyal, XEN PDD, AEE PWD, PHE, DSWO, DHO Samba, members & officers of different works department also attended the meeting. |
