IRP 1st Battalion distributes school bags, stationery items at Mahore | | | Early Times Report
Reasi, Apr 27: Continuing with its mission of serving the Civil Society especially the needy under Civic Action Programme, IRP 1st Battalion today distributed school bags, uniforms and other stationery items among seventy eight poor and orphan students at Government Middle School Tramla Shajroo, Mahore. On the occasion, SSP IRP 1st Battalion TR Katoch was the chief guest. DySP Devinder Singh, ZEO Mahore, Headmasters and teachers of various government schools, members of PRIs and a large number of local people were also present on the occasion. Speaking on the occasion, Katoch said that Police under the Civic Action Programme has always been helping poor and needy and would leave no stone unturned to help the same in future. He added that civic action plan is a positive step to bridge the gap between Police and Public. He also stressed upon the teachers to impart quality education and inculcate the competitive spirit among the students to make them responsible citizens. DySP Devinder said that the only purpose of such programmes is to bring Public closer to the Police to have a crime free, safe and secure society. ZEO Mahore and members of PRIs expressed their gratitude to IRP 1stBattalion for organizing the programme for the welfare of the students of the School. Later refreshment was also distributed among the students. |
