MHA approves 66th Bn SSB as reserve Battallion 4/28/2015 10:13:38 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Apr 28: 66th Battalion SSB raised as a reserved Battallion under the command of Sham Kapoor, Commandant as per the expansion programme of SSB approved by MHA. A cultural event was organized by the officers and Jawans at Transit camp of SSB at Chhani Himmat on the occasion of newly raised 66th Battalion SSB Bantalab. Commandant, Sham Kapoor innaugrated the ceremony by cutting Ribbon followed with a motivational lecture delieverd by him. SSB is basically guarding the Indo-Nepal and Bhutan borders and 5 units of SSB are already deployed in J&K to look after the Law and order situations, VIP escorts and CI-Ops related duties in Jammu and Kashmir.
