| EDP programme For PMEGP candidates Concluded | | |  Early Times Report
reasi, Apr 28: An EDP programme for PMEGP candidates sponsored by Khadi & Village Industries Commission Jammu, conducted by SBI Rural Self Employment Training Institute (SBI-RSETI) Jammu concluded at Bantalab, Jammu.
According to press release, nearly 24 candidates from different parts of Jammu district participated. On this occasion, a small but impressive function was organized in which certificates of participation were distributed by Pawan Gupta Executive Officer, Khadi & Village Industries Board Jammu. Gupta interacted with the candidates and guided them for taking maximum advantage of PMEGP Scheme.
He also assured them that every possible help/guidance will be extended to them for addressing the difficulties faced by them in starting/ running their business ventures.
Director, RSETI, Virender Kumar Sood maintained that many Training Programmes like Cutting & Tailoring, AC. & Refrigerator Repair, Electrical Home Appliance Repair, Computer Basics, Soft Toys Making, Beauty Parlor Management, and Computer Hardware & DTP etc. will be conducted by the RSETI depending upon local requirement. He said SBI RSETI which is aimed at skill building of prospective small entrepreneurs / borrowers specially for rural youth, is unique as it is intensive short term residential self employment training programme with free food and accommodation designed specially for unemployed youth. After completion of course institution also helps entrepreneurs for credit linkage with financial institutions of their areas, for their settlement.
Mohinder Kumar Counselor FLC also interacted with the participants & asked the participants to making saving some income as their habit for future needs.
