| Health awareness seminar organized at DPL | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Apr 28: A seminar was organized in DPL Jammu in collaboration with experts of Amandeep Hospital & Clinics, Amritsar.
In their seminar, SSP Jammu Uttam Chand, IPS, SP Hqrs. Jammu S Randheer Singh and DySP DAR DPL, Jammu alongwith Officers/Officials of District Police Jammu and Traffic Police, Jammu participated.
A healthy discussion was held on the occasion in which participants interacted with the experts on various health topics.
While speaking on the occasion, Uttam Chand, SSP Jammu maintained that Jammu Police is committed to have better relation with general Public, for which all efforts are being made in the shape of such seminars to provide necessary knowledge to the Officers/officials regarding how to save more precious lives due to accident menace from the society. The resource persons Dr Mandeep Singh, Sr Paramedic, Avtar Singh and Coordinator, Akash Sharma from Amandeep Hospital Amritsar gave a detailed presentation on the procedures and the sequence wise steps which needs to be adopted while tackling such injured person particularly due to accidents. During the deliberations, experts interacted with the participants and provided some specific tips for any such circumstances. Earlier Dr Amandeep Kaur, Medical Director Amandeep Hospital sensitized the police officers and Jawans that Jammu-Kashmir is a terrorist affected, quake prone and accident prone area sizeable number of emergency are expected to arise in this area. She said these first aid seminars are being organized are in schools and colleges and Police personal on the eve of eight anniversary of Amandeep Multi-speicality clinic. Later S Randheer Singh, SP Hqrs Jammu also shared their views and experience and emphasized upon them to adopt all the procedures presented by experts at ground level. |
