| JSS observes yellow day | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Apr 28 : Pre Primary wing of Jammu Sanskriti School (JSS) enjoyed yellow colour day. Children appreciated yellow day activities that incorporate the five senses of sight, sound, taste, and smell early identification of colours help the children create cognitive link between visuals and words conceptual development is learnt during Pre-School Days and colours appeal to their sensory abilities.
The children on yellow colour day came to school in different shades of yellow outfits & brought Yellow coloured fruits and food items. Teachers started the day by introducing and informing children about yellow colour. The teachers displayed different coloured yellow objects, and took children for walk to observe yellow objects, flowers. Activities like rangoli making from Marigold flowers, Greeting cards from yellow papers. Kept the tiny tots happy and engrossed in their work.
Principal cum Vice Chairperson shared her views with the teachers and students on how these kinds of activities enrich the confidence and expression among young children. She lauded the efforts of teachers and parents in making the day's event successful. |
