| Anti mosquito drive launched | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, May 2: An anti mosquito drive in the form of Thermal fogging was launched by Rajesh Gupta MLA Jammu East from Main Chowk Panjtirthi ward no. 01 in presence of Soujanya Sharma Commissioner Jammu Municipal Corporation, Dr. Mohd. Saleem Khan Health Officer.
A ward wise roaster schedule for whole of the city has been prepared from 01/05/2015 to 30/05/2015 by State Malariologist with the consultation of Health Officer JMC. The Thermal fogging will be done under the joint supervision of Health Officer & Anti Malaria Officer. While speaking at the occasion MLA Sh. Rajesh Gupta appealed to the people to cooperate with the staff of JMC & Malaria Department to make the drive a complete success.
Thermal Fogging will save the people from Malaria & Dengue fever etc. Soujanya Sharma Commissioner JMC while speaking on the occasion has appealed to the general public that stagnant water from tyres should be removed, water of coolers be changed from time to time and also do not allow the water to remain stagnant around the premises because stagnant water is the main source of mosquito breeding. |
