JTC, SKF discuss arrangements of Annual Khir Bhawani Yatra | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, May 2: Jagti Tenement Committee (JTC) and Soan Kashmir Front (SKF) J&K organized a meeting and discussed arrangements of Annual Khir Bhawani Yatra (Tulamulla Ganderbal Kashmir) on the eve of Zeshtha Ashtami falling on May 26, wherein thousands of Yatries are likely to participate in the yatra. According to press release, President Shadi Lal Pandita said it has unanimously been decided that Yatra will proceed from Jammu on May 25 to Tulamulla Ganderbal and will be back by May 28, 2015. He demanded free bus services for the Yatries as per past practices for to and fro journey of the Yatries to Khir Bhawani Tulamulla Ganderbal Kashmir. "A demand has been made to the Government for according necessary permissions to the interested Bus Owners / Drivers for plying from Jammu to Khir Bhawani Kashmir and vice versa for facilitating the Yatries and devotees for their smooth visit of Khir Bhawani in connection with celebrating Zeshtha Ashtami with religious favour, " he added. He further said that the separatists have been active in subversive activities and have been waving Pakistani flags during protests which has raised a sense of insecurity amongst the Kashmiri Pandit employees serving in valley and residing in Private as well as composite transit accommodations at different places. |
