| Son of soil makes J&K proud by conducting operation in Nepal | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, May 2: A son of soil presently a consultant orthopaedics at Safdargunj Hospital New Delhi is leading team of doctors sent by Ministry of Health and Family Welfare to Nepal for disaster management has made the state proud by undertaking a complicated surgery of a quake victim (woman) who had a fall from 9th floor of a building in Nepal quake on April 25.
Sources close to family members of the proud medico shared media person that Dr Balvinder Singh son of Gandharb Singh of Udhampur -a consultant in orthopaedics in Safdarjung Hospital New Delhi treated one Dani Thapa (25) female who had a fall alonwgith with her minor (4 yrs) daughter from 9th floor of skyscraper in Nepal which collapsed during earthquake and has a miraculous escape.
"She alongwith her daughter was dug out alive from huge piles of debris, they said adding, " and got treated by Dr Balvinder Singh along with his team from India at Bir Hospital Nepal - the premier health institute of Nepal. The reports further added that the lady reportedly is recovering from her fatal injuries and is said to be stable. |
