| Ganga tours Gurha Salathia | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, May 3 : Minister for Industries and Commerce Chander Parkash Ganga today held a public darbar at Gurha Salathia area to know the issues and problems being faced by the people there.
Ganga was accompanied by MLA, Samba Davinder Singh Manyal, senior party leader Farooq Khan and other dignitaries.
People of the Gurha Salathia residents demanded construction of flyover in Vijaypur town, committee hall, Tehsil status to Gurha Salathia, open library for upper and lower Panchayat, plying of buses of JKRTC from Jammu to Gurha Salathia. People of the locality also demanded safe supply of drinking water and availability of doctors at Vijapur Hospital and other PHCs.
Minister, after listening to the grievances of the locals, said that he will submit a DPR regarding construction of flyover to the central government for its approval.
"Eleven people have been suspended in my own constituency for their alleged involvement in corruption cases and no one will be spared in coalition government as there is no difference in the sayings and actions of this government", Ganga said. He also assured that all the problems being highlighted by the people will be solved on priority. |
