MLA Inderwal's designs dashed to ground 5/4/2015 12:40:08 AM Early Times Report Kishtwar, May 3: "Truth always prevails and finally it's the honesty and dedication that yields the result" this was said by a prominent PDP Leader of Inderwal and sarpanch Drubeel Thaker Puran Chand while addressing a press conference at Kishtwar. The press conference was also addressed by prominent lawyer and PDP District Coordinator Sheikh Nasir Hussain. The leaders while addressing the press conference said that after long wait of four years the justice was delivered and decision of appellate authority has been reversed. During year 2011 Thaker Puran Chand was declared elected as Sarpanch with seven votes. The candidate a close associate of MLA Inderwal who was declared as defeated filed an appeal before ADDC Kishtwar the designate authority for appeals. On 04-07-2011 the then ADDC who was the close relative of MLA Inderwal Ghulam Mohammad Saroori acting under the influence of MLA rejected few votes resulting into the defeat of Puran Chand. I was having faith in judiciary so I approached Honb'le High Court and finally after four years the Honb'le High Court in OWP no. 938/2011 quashed the appeallate authorty's order and his status as Sarpanch was restored" said Puran Chand. He informed the media persons that concerned authority has administered oath of affirmation and he will leave no stone unturned to work hard and mitigate the problems of people on ground. He extended his gratitude to the authorities of RDD especially ACD Kishtwar Akhtar Hussain Qazi and BDO Mughalmaidan Mr. Varinder for acting promptly on the decision of the Honb'le High Court. Sheikh Nasir while addressing press conference accused MLA Inderwal for misusing his position. He said that because of MLA the far flung panchayat Drubeel has suffered a lot on developmental front.
