Ever since the existence of civilization the role of women became evident from the day the spouse started living together. In a male dominated society the role of woman became limited and she remained confined to only giving births to children ad preparing food for him but slowly and slowly with the transformation of societies the woman duties became larger. Almost all religious saints, Sufis Avtar and religious book preached that women are important component of male dominated societies. As per holy Guru Granth Sahib preaching's it is recited as 'So kyo manda Akhiya Jis Jammeh Rajaan' means why we should give bad name to a woman who gave births to Avtars, Saints. Rishi, Muni and big people. She is a creator of universe, a wife , a mother , a daughter and all goddesses. There fore she deserves all due regards respect ad recognition in the society. There have been occasions where woman headed different countries in the past and sill they are occupying highest places in social , political , scientific and sports and even in Govt. offices. They are scientists, doctors, engineers, space astronauts, big sports persons, big political leaders and also working as big IPS, IAS, and IFS officers. So they are in no way behind men and hence should not be treated as weaker sex, which of course, is painful and sad state of affairs. This has to be kept in mind that she is such a noble person, she cooks meals for you, washes your clothes, utensils and stands by you in all your ups and down makes you from zero to hero in the family besides giving births to your children and nourished them making their carrier Because mother is first teacher of a child. She plays a pivotal role in the family. Inspite of her huge contributions in the society it becomes horrible to know, that she is either burnt alive or made to burnt alive after all what for and why? Male dominated society do not realize that this is not only a sin but a henious crime, if not going by legal angle, does it seems to be justified ? If you have a heart in your body then you can ask yourself that burning of bride should not be treated as a murder of our male dominated society and certainly tantamounts to social boycott of such family in the society, in addition to legal punishments so that an example is set for an exemplary social punishment till the death of a person who commits this sins/crime which ultimately speaks volume of social crime. If this crime is exclusively for certain reasons like dowry liking and disliking of bride, financial demands and living in adultery. How long our societies shall allow such thing to happen. Does it not above all benefits, which a woman enjoys in the society. As per constitution she has got all the fundamental rights like men in the society. Then on what basis a male is superior to a female. If she gives birth to a female baby, she is considered to be at fault where as the picture is different when we see it from scientific angle i.e. the birth of a female baby is always due to male chromosomes. Female foeticide is another crime against the women thereby disturbing the sex ratio.
These issues need to be addressed in letter and spirit by educating the male society through various means either through media, newspaper, introducing book on the subject in the schools, colleges and discussing it in various debates and seminars. Of course, law has its own coarse to deal with such crimes but before the situation takes ugly turns let us make our younger generation aware of pros and cones of such heinous crimes ad live like a faithful, disciplined and trustworthy husband. The freedom to women in carrying out day to day work with men in public places need special attention by law enforcing agency and other law abiding citizen. Rape, molestation in big metropolitan cities has become the order of the day. The culprits are let loose after a brief trials by the courts due to poor circumstantial evidences. This encourages the bad and characterless anti social elements to raise their ugly heads to repeat the crime. Exemplary legal punishment shall control and check such incidences. Otherwise we shall be loosing our mothers, wives, sisters and daughters in the years to come. Moral values towards fare sex shall make a strong societies. Near about on an average 10000 false dowry harassment cases being registered every year however as per the data provided by the national crime records bureau a total number of 99135, 106527, 118866 cases respected registered in 2011, 2012 and 2013 in the country under section under section IPC 498 A for cruelty of his husband or his relatives. When conciliatory efforts between the hostile parties are virtually impossible. A husband or his family members are presumed guilty till they provide their imminence in the court. The offence is punishable with a jail with the term up to three years. There have been allegations that husband and in laws are often charged with false dowry harassment when some marital problems arise. Deaths on account of dowry harassment must be dealt with severally and exemplary by the Hon'ble courts after a thoughtful legislation
The woman is the centre of love and is a sentimental being. She showers love and affection on her family. Her life is based on love and affection. She wants to be loved by others in the family. The more she is loved the more content she will be. Women are self sacrificing. If she comes to know that she is not being loved by anyone she may consider herself a defeated and useless person and will always be gloomy and dejected. Therefore, it can be claimed that the greatest secret of caring for a wife is showing love and affection.
Respected gentleman; your spouse enjoyed the untainted love of her parents earlier, but since she has signed the matrimonial contract, she has come to your house with the hope that you alone will love her to the degree of the love given by her family or even more. She expects your love and affection to be deeper and more durable than her parents love because she is relying upon your love, has submitted her whole life and existence to you. When your home becomes devoid of love and affection it will turn into a kind of hell. Though it may be well organized, because it has no fragrance of love it will not have splendor and serenity. If a wife feels unwanted she may try to win the hearts of other for compensation. She may become so fed up with her husband home that she may prefer separation to a cold and dull life and eve may ask for divorce. Most divorces take place due to this lack of love. "Respected ladies", the above explained condition also apply for you as well and men also expect same type of deal from you. "Shakespeare" has said that the quality of a woman which wins a man's heart is her kindness and not her beautiful face. He further declares that a woman who is kind is loved more than a woman who is not kind. Let us, all dedicate our self towards this noble cause if we become savior of fair sex and take an oath in the name of almighty that we shall protect the dignity and modesty of women in our society and will never allow somebody daughter, mother, sister and wife to burn alive as this is a social evils in our modern society. |
