Women officers to head SDA, IMPA, Education Deptt 5/18/2015 11:40:24 PM Early Times Report SRINAGAR, May 18: Mufti Sayeed led cabinet has chosen three women for key assignments, official sources said. Salma Hameed is the VC of Srinagar Development Authority. She would relieve Shafat Noor who is retiring later this month. Nirmal Sharma would now head the prestigious IMPA that trains the civil servants and implements a variety of programmes in the state especially those of rural development. Yesha Mudgal who was the DDC Udhampur has now been shifted to head the Education Department in Jammu. She is being replaced by Shahid Iqbal Choudhary. Vinita Gupta has been attached to the GAD. She is not feeling well, a top minister in the Mufti government said. There might be some other female officers in IAS and KAS cadres whose positions were touched by today's cabinet reshuffle but the government is yet to make the list public.
