| JKGEWF expresses resentment against Govt for not paying salary | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, May 18: Jammu Kashmir Govt. Employees and Workers Federation has expressed resentment against coalition government for not paying salary to the employees. According to press release, a meeting was held under the Presidium of Kulwant Singh President J&K Govt. employees and workers federation and Shahid Hussain Gen. Sec. J&K Govt. employees and workers federation. In the meeting various issues confronting the Govt. employees are discussed. S.Kulwant Singh in his address showed resentment on the non seriousness of present Govt. towards its Employees as the Employees are suffering without salary in many deportments the GP fund of the employees is not being released. As the teachers working under RMSA and SSA are without salary for last 8 to 14 Months they also stressed for 1) the merger of 50% DA in basic pay 2) Regularisation of daily wagers, contractual in various departments. 3) Enhancement in medical allowance from Rs.300 to Rs.1000. 4) Regular salary to N.P.S, ReT and working under RMSA. 5) Removal of pay anomalies of different cadres. 6) Grant for pending liabilities in all treasuries. 7) Medical policy for all grades. An appeal has been made to Chief Minister of J&K Govt. to personally intervene and settle the issues of the employees at its earliest. |
