CUJ faculty felicitates new incumbent Prof Aima in VC's chair 5/18/2015 11:56:12 PM Early Times Report Jammu, May 18: The faculty of the Central University of Jammu (CUJ) formally welcomed the newly appointed Vice-Chancellor of the University, Prof. Ashok Aima in a felicitation ceremony held here today in campus premises. During the ceremony the former Incharge Vice-Chancellor of CUJ, Prof Devanand accompanied by other senior faculty members of the University faculty presented a shawl to the new incumbent. New Vice Chancellor CUJ, Prof Aima in his address revealed that each Department of the University can write a minor project for which it will get a grant of Rs. 10,000/- from the University and also announced a cash prize of Rs 25,000/- will be given to the research paper published in a journal with highest impact factor. He also informed that during the recent visit of MoS-PMO Dr Jitendra Singh, it was apprised the University will start three research centres in the vital areas of Space Technology, Earth Sciences, and Atomic Energy. Prof Devanand, the former Incharge VC of the University and others hoped that the University will progress at a fast pace under New VC's able leadership.
