Missing Mumbai girl recovered from Jammu | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, May 18: General Railway Police (GRP), Jammu today claimed to have recovered a missing Mumbai girl from the area of its jurisdiction and later handed over the girl to the police team from Mumbai. According to official spokesperson, the GRP Jammu geared its sources following information from Mumbai police on the other day. "As per Mumbai Police, a missing report was lodged by the family members of girl at Bhiwandi City Police Station Mumbai alleging that the 22 year girl (name kept secret) went missing, stated Suram Singh, SP (Railways) Jammu, and added that GRP Jammu after acquiring details of the missing report and photo of the said girl on whatsapp (social networking site) immediately activated the GRP officers and officials. "As soon as the girl (missing) came across the watch of GRP men, she was immediately brought to P/S GRP Jammu by lady police, SP Railways said. He also added that after that SHO GRP Jammu Inspector Neeraj Choudhary communicated Mumbai Police and her parents too were contacted accordingly. "The said missing girl was handed over to her guardians and team of Mumbai police after proper legal formalities, he added. |
