Jammu, May 18: Two sisters reportedly got serious burn injuries after lightning struck in Kawa village of district Udhampur, during inclement weather witnessed here today across Jammu region, police sources said. "The injured have been identified as Bharti and Rajni, both daughters of Hukam Chand of village Kawa of Udhampur, police sources said. According to police sources, two injured were shifted to District Hospital (DH) Udhampur from where doctors referred one of them to Govt Medical College and Hospital (GMC&H) Jammu owing to her critical burn injuries. "During the inclement weather conditions caused damage and injury in remote village in Udhampur, police sources said, adding, "one calf was also got perished as lightning struck upon it." |
