Two notorious criminals held with country made pistol, toka 5/24/2015 12:21:40 AM Early times Report Jammu, May 23: Police today claimed to have arrested two history sheeters and recovered one country made pistol (katta) and with three live rounds along with a sharp-edged weapon during a naka checking in a locality under jurisdiction of Police Station Gangyal. "The duo has been identified namely as Vikramjeet Singh alias Vicky of Model Town Digiana and Paramjeet Singh alias Pankaj alias Murga resident of Digiana presently at Shiv Nagar Sehora, police sources said. Sources said, "On specific input about movement of some miscreants, police team led by Inspector Ajay Jamwal intercepted the duo and during their frisking police recovered a country made pistol along with three live rounds from possession of Vikram while a sharp-edged weapon was recovered from his accomplice -Pankaj." Police sources said that 17 FIRs have been registered against Vikram in different police stations and his name has been recommended for slapping Public safety Act (PSA) against him. Meanwhile a fresh case under FIR no 37/15 u/s 307, 341 and 147 of RPC, 3/25 and 4/25 of Arms Act has been registered at Police Station Gangyal and further investigation in this case is on.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
