KPC cautions KPs against division over return issue | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, May 24 : Reacting to a meeting of chief minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed with a select group of KP activists and organisations yesterday in New Delhi, KPC chief Kundan Kashmiri has called upon the KP migrants not to get divided over the issue of their return to the valley. In a statement issued here today, he said it was shameful for the Centre and the state governments, Ram Madav, senior RSS ideologue and anti- KP activist Amitabh Mattoo for adopting the policy of divide and rule by inviting only pro-Mufti, pro-RSS and pro-Muslim groups amongst the Kashmiri Hindu community for a meeting in New Delhi to further their nefarious designs of pushing some poor displaced KPs to the valley where they would be at the mercy of Muslim fundamentalists in some proposed composite clusters and keeping away the strong and genuine voices amongst displaced Kashmiri Hindus from Jammu, Delhi and other parts of the country. Kundan said that meaningful and actual talks and dialogue of KPs' amalgam of organizations should be with Modi and not with Mufti. He alleged that Mufti was responsible for the miseries, migration, loot and arson of KPs in the valley and he and his organisation were also responsible to encourage militancy in the state and his party's agenda of self- rule was separatists' demand which takes Kashmir away from Indian nation.Hence genuine leadership of Kashmir pandits cannot in any case talk with Mufti, but they can surely talk with Modi with whom their expectations were still attached. |
