Mount Litera Zee School celebrates investiture ceremony 6/1/2015 11:00:09 PM Early Times Report Kathua, June 1: Mount Litera Zee School, Kathua celebrated the first investiture ceremony in which student representatives to students council of school were elected to new classes in presence of faculty members and special assembly of the students. The occasion started with the welcome address to Chief Guest Nasir Ahmed (Addl SP Kathua) and gathering including parents of Members of Student Council. Among other present on this occasion included Pankaj Dogra (Trustee Dogra Cultural and Educational Trust ), Anu Dogra (Chairperson Mount Litera Zee School), Mili R Sumbria (Principal Mount Litera Zee School), Monika (Co-ordinator Kidzee), Senior Teacher Romy Kumar, Romy Sharma (Relational Manager) and faculty members. The Investiture ceremony is one of first momentous occasion for the students and school as well and newly selected members of the student council are now going to be officially vested with powers and position. All members of student council are divided amongst the four houses. Chief Guest Nasir Ahmed (Addl SP Kathua) congratulated the newly elected members of the student council and their proud parents and motivated the students to selflessly serve the society as a whole and to be role models for their fellows. He also congratulated the management and principal to give students as representatives so as to encourage them to handle affairs at independently and to inculcate high standards of integrity, character, conduct and devotion amongst the children. Principal Mili R Sumbria in her address said that students of today are the visionaries and torch bearers of tomorrow. She hoped that these young and dynamic leaders elected today, uphold the values and sanctity of the school.
