| Ongoing All India 11th Gufran Memorial T20 Cricket Championship 2015 | | | Doda, June 1: Chennai registers enthralling win over Gujarat by 09 wickets in the ongoing All India 11th Gufran Memorial T20 Cricket Championship 2015 played at Sports Stadium Doda. The tournament is being organized by Young Star Cricket Club Doda and sponsored by Rashtriya Rifles Bn Doda, J&K Bank, Natnoo Furnishing House Doda and Green Model Hr Sec School Doda.
Earlier, after winning the toss first, Gujarat elected to bat first. Batting first, Gujarat set a low target of 69 runs for the loss of all their wickets in 14.5 overs. Raja Ali was the highest scorer from Gujarat after scoring 18 runs while Pankaj contributed 14 runs for the team. From Chennai, Kishore clinched 3 wickets while Shahrukh took 2 wickets .
In reply, Chennai team chase down the target in 5.3 overs by the loss of 01 wicket . Shubash scored 55 runs while Darvesh contributed 6 runs for his team, while from Gujarat, Raja Ali took 1 wicket.
Later on, Shubash of Chennai was declared as Man of the Match for his best batting performance. In the second match played between Pirates of Chittagong (POC) Bangladesh and Friends Cricket Club (FCC) Thathri. Batting first, POC Bangladesh scored 53 runs for the loss of 3 wickets in 7 overs. Later on the match was abandoned due to bad weather. Keeping in view the bad weather, 1-1 points were shared among both the teams
