Kathua, June 1: Lambasting Dy Chief minister Jammu & Kashmir who has also portfolio of Power Minister, State Electrical Employees' Union, SEEU today said that minister has utterly failed to understand the needs and shortage within Power Development Department. Expressing concerns, PC Sharma, Provincial president of SEEU in a press conference here today at Kathua said Minister is unaware to paucity of the department and demanded to allot portfolio to deserving and concerned minister. Accompanied with group of volunteers from Hiranagar, Kathua, Samba, Ramkot and Billawar division, Mr Sharma alleged that minister of ignoring the suffering of the employees and paucity in the department. Sharma said only an AE and daily wagers run the circles, daily wagers work as Linemen without proper training. Sharma also demanded release of DPC list, regularization of daily wagers, technical grades for diploma holders, implementation of SRO 149& 59, relief package under welfare Scheme at XEN circle level, advertisement for various vacant posts, action against those who encroached Line-man huts, rationalization the system in PDD. Davinder Sharma, Distt President Kathua, Adarsh Singh, Haridarshan Singh, Unit President Hiranagar, Semer Unit President samba, Ashok Kumar, Unit President Ramkot were also highlight pending problems of the PDD employees. |
