Residents of Vijaypur W No. 12 stage protest against PDD, PHE 6/1/2015 11:59:35 PM Early Times Report Samba, June 1: Residents of W No 12 of Vijaypur today staged a protest demonstration against PDD and PHE departments. Protestors assembled at the office of Executive Engineer, E M & RE Division, Vijaypur as well as in the office of AEE, P.H.E. Sub Division, Vijaypur. The people alleged that the Transformer of W No 12, Vijaypur is out of order for last five days but till date the concerned officials have not taken any step to restore the power supply despite of various request made by them. They further told that the water supply in ward no. 12 has not been given for the last 4-5 days. The people told that the administration of District Samba has totally failed to mitigate the problems of the people. They said that that they have given vote for change so that the employees shall discharge their duties properly but the Local MLA did not pay any heed in this respect. The anguished people said that the executive engineers of PDD as well as PHE departments never published the problems in the newspaper to inform the public in general for problem occurred in the system.
