Under CSR, New India Assurance LTD adopts chinore village 7/6/2015 11:10:10 PM Early Times Report Jammu, July 6: Under CSR, New India Assurance LTD adopts chinore village the largest General Insurance Co of India has taken a big initiative on Corporate social Responsibility (CSR) adopted village Chinore near Bantalab under CSR initiative and donated 25 desks for students, a water cooler and laid the tiles on floor of school in a function held at today. The auspicious function was inaugurated by Dr. S.L.Khosa, Deputy Gen. Manager, Dr. RK Duggal, Chief Manager at Head Office Mumbai and Suman Gupta, Sr. Div. Manager Jammu D.O II while RK Bhasin, A.O (D) and Pawan Sharma, Dev. Officer and Yogeshwar Kumar of The New India Assurance Co. Ltd were also present. Sonal Maini, the principal of the Govt Middle School Chinore, Sohan Lal Panch of village and other villagers were also present on the occasion. Maini welcomed the officers of The New India Assurance Co. Ltd and conveyed her gratitude for CSR initiative. Dr. SL Khosa, DyGen Manager appraised the villagers about Co's profile and various micro insurance products which are beneficial for rural people. He also conveyed that unemployed youth of this village can become our agents and earn their livelihood. Dr. RK Duggal, Chief Manager also conveyed that The New India Assurance Co. Ltd is a premier general insurance Company in India and it is worth to mention that company spends 2% of its profit money to corporate social responsibility. Suman Gupta, Sr. Div.Manager Jammu DO II while conveying the thanks to Dr. SL Khosa, Dy. Gen. Manager, Chief Manager, Dr. RK Duggal highlighted that among many schemes by Govt of India CSR is also part of the initiatives to be undertaken by the company.
