Congress demands opening of Degree College at Marmat 7/7/2015 11:21:40 PM Doda, July 7: Senior Congress Leader Ashraf Ali today has demanded from government to open Degree College at Marmat. According to press release, Ali said that every year about 1000 students passes their HS Part-II from Government HSS Goha and HSS Khellani. " due to absence of college in nearby areas most of the students give up their further education due to poverty as most of the people of Marmat area are bent upon the labouring work", he said. He further said that those who have sought their admission in Government Degree College Doda are putting up in a rented accommodation where they are charged Rs 1500 to Rs 2000 for each student which every student cannot afford and consequently most of the students have to give up their further studies.
