Two commit suicide, another found dead 7/21/2015 11:08:41 PM Early Times Report Jammu, July 21: Two persons committed suicide while another person was found dead under mysterious circumstances at different places reported in last 24 hours from across the Jammu region. Police said a youth of Kathua allegedly committed suicide by consuming some poisonous substance mysteriously. The deceased has been identified as Sumit (25) son of Subash Chander of Kathua. Police said that the youth consumed some poisonous substance and fell unconscious. On seeing him unresponsive, the family members shifted him to nearby hospital from where doctor after giving preliminary treatment referred him to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMC&H) Jammu. "During his treatment at GMC&H Jammu the youth succumbed today, police said. In a similar incident a 42 year-old man Jang Bahadur s/o Ram Dass of Rakh Samba who had consumed some poisonous substance mysteriously at his residence on July 19 and was undergoing medical treatment succumbed today. Meanwhile, an elderly person in his late fifties (55) was found unconscious at his rented accommodation in Jeevan Nagar of Jammu. Police said after receiving information about one person found unconscious, the police immediately shifted him to GMC&H Jammu where he was pronounced as dead. "The deceased has been identified as Kasturi Lal son of Dhani Ram of Sunderbani, police said.
