Jammu, July 27: To commemorate the memory of Shaheed Head Constable Dheeraj Kholi, Senior BJP Leader Yudhvir Sethi today donated a water cooler to the people of Pucca Danga and adjoining areas.
Head Ct. Kohli fell to the bullets of militants at Raghunath Ji Temple in the year 2002.
Remembering sacrifice of Deeraj, the BJP leader Yudhvir said the nation is indebted to the sacrifices of those who laid their lives for the nation and people would continue to respect brave and courageous soldiers of the country who commit themselves to the service of motherland.
"The cooler has been dedicated to the memory of the soldier who had laid down his life while attending call of duty, he said while adding that the arrangement for potable cold water would not only benefit the residents but other people also who visit the ever busy commercial market area.
The cooler along with complete unit of water purifier and transformer has been installed in the Khiloney wali Gali.
